If your child is ill then please let the administrator know before school starts.  If no one is in the office please leave a message.  When a child is absent without a message the administrator will contact parents once registers have been taken.

If you child has a contagious illness you should keep them off school until the contagious period is over.  If a child has had diarrhoea or vommiting then you should not send them back to school until they have been 48 hours clear of the condition.

Parents should keep an eye out for headlice, it is polite to treat your child and ensure they do not come to school with the condition.  The school will tell parents if they notice head lice and can supply lots of helpful information to help deal with the problem.

If your child is off for more than three days then we will ask for evidence of a doctors appointment or prescribed medication.

You should keep the school informed of ongoing absences after the first day bay calling the office.

The school will administer prescribed medicines only. Click here to see the full medicine policy.
