Key Stage 1 Class Teacher Part Time 0.4 (Required from September 2017)
A highly motivated KS1 teacher is required for a mixed Year One / Two class from September 2017 as part of a job share. The successful candidate will be expected to teach two and a half day a week. Mrs Mary King’s is a successful, small rural school, which is part of the Carrdyke Federation along with Walcott School. We can offer; a friendly, close knit staff who provide excellent support through collaborative working and an attractive well-resourced site. The school received a ‘good’ Ofsted judgement in April 2014. The successful candidate will be committed to providing a highly positive learning environment and engage the class with consistently stimulating teaching.

Have an excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.

Be prepared to contribute fully to the life of the wider school community.

Be able to work collaboratively with, and contribute to, the wider federation staff.

We made stick crosses around a camp fire.
We went down to the 'Wild Woods' for our first activity morning.
The new log seating circle has been installed around the camp fire.
We enjoyed making birds nests, troll houses and and fairy dens.
